*CakeB* HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary ReviewsOpen in new Window.*CakeP*

Hello, StephBee!

INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

*Bulletg* I enjoyed reading your "Retirement Thoughts" blog post this evening.

*Bulletg* Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end.

MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

*Bulleto* I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here, and our friendship, and that you find the review uplifting and encouraging.

*Bulleto* I found your blog post on the news feed today. I clicked it, read it and enjoyed it, so I figured with the WDC SuperPower reviewers having a raid going on today, that I'd give you a review to thank you for the good read.

*Bulleto* WOOHOO for New Hampshire! I have some awesome family members there and really love the state. Retirement is a long ways away for my husband, but we had planned to go to North Carolina. With the disastrous flooding there, I suggested that we change our plans for New Hampshire, but he won't go further north than Delaware. Right now he's pitching Tennessee and I'm leaning towards South Carolina. But if he changes his mind about going north, New Hampshire is number one on my list.

*Bulleto* I did actually live in California on two occasions, and absolutely loved it, but that was on the military's dime. I couldn't afford it on my own. I have fond memories of it though. I'd encourage you to see all the things you might ever want to see there before heading back east, if you can. I seem to recall that getting time off with your job is very difficult. I live in a touristy kind of area and my local friends are always commenting on how they've never been to wherever I went recently. I guess what I'm trying to say is that when you live somewhere, you can take some things for granted or just think you'll do it someday, or that it's just for tourists, but if you can make the time to see everything you want there before moving, you can save yourself some serious travel money in the future by not having to go back.

*Bulleto* I thought you were super brave to share your numbers. It seems like a huge amount to me, but I imagine the cost of living where you are now is astronomical. You've certainly earned it. I'm glad your area allows the military buy in. Yay for you and all the veterans it helps!

*Bulleto* I liked the name of your overall blog, and the clear title for this post (which is what inspired me to click on it, in addition to me generally liking you and your writing).

*Bulleto* Your thumbnail image for the overall blog is perfect for a blog on this writing site.

*Bulleto* I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your blog post.

*Bulleto* I thought the genres you selected for this blog post were perfectly appropriate matches for it.

*Bulleto* I was glad that your workplace offered retirement classes and super glad that you already knew most of it, so it was just a refresher for you. You're ahead of most people in that area, for sure.

*Bulleto* I hope that there will be social security benefits for you and your husband when you each retire.

IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:

In the spirit of helpfulness, and because of the requirements of a new reviewing challenge I joined recently, I have one little suggestion to make your piece stronger. If you're interested in some constructive criticism, read on. But if you aren't, no worries. Just know that I enjoyed your piece and move on to the next section.

Still reading? You're brave! Yay for you! *Clap*

*Bulletb* I think maybe there are two missing words (to take) in this sentence:
"Retirement is two years away for me, so I decided a retirement seminar at work."
At first I wasn't sure if the missing words were "to take" or "to give," but reading clarified it for me.
If you wanted to add them and make this change, I'll make it super easy for you (just cut and paste), your sentence will look like this:
"Retirement is two years away for me, so I decided to take a retirement seminar at work."

As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't.

CONCLUSION:

*Bulletv* I enjoyed reading your "Is Ireland Going to Be the New Canada" blog post, and appreciated the laugh you gave me.

*Bulletv* Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, heart, experiences, and writing with the Writing.Com community!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance this month, and always!

PWheeler
