Hello, Beholden!
INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

I enjoyed reading your "Quotations" blog post today.

Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end.
MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

I found your blog post in my news feed. I clicked it, read it, and enjoyed it. Because the Writing.Com SuperPower Reviewers have a raid going today, I figured I'd give you a review too.

You brought up an excellent point. A lot of times, quotes are taken out of context. If one has the time, it's worth investigating Also worth considering is that they are sometimes mis-attributed too. Most of the time, if I'm posting a quote, it's to encourage or inspire people. I don't usually take the time to investigate the source, though when I do have time, I try to make sure the right person is given credit at least.

I thought your writing style was personable (as usual), and easy to read and follow.

I appreciated that you were concise and humble.

I don't think I've seen the "Slings and Arrows" show, but I probably haven't seen 99 percent (or more...) of what's popular on television.

Your watercolor image in the thumbnail picture was perfect for the title of your overall blog, of which this post is a part.

I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your blog post.

I thought the experience and personal genres you selected for this blog post were appropriate matches for it.

I liked that you included your word count below your post.
IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:
In the spirit of helpfulness, and because of the requirements of a new reviewing challenge I joined recently, I have one little suggestion to make your piece stronger. If you're interested in some constructive criticism, read on. But if you aren't, no worries. Just know that I enjoyed your piece and move on to the next section.
Still reading? You're brave! Yay for you!

The best thing I can think of to improve this post would be to include a quote that you like and have taken the time to investigate. Leading a post about quotes with a quote seems like a nice idea to me.
As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't.
CONCLUSION:

I enjoyed reading your blog post about quotations, and agreed with your ideas that you expressed in it.

Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, heart, experiences, and writing with the Writing.Com community!
May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance this month, and always!
