I think you hit the “psalm-like” prompt on the mark, as this read like a psalm even before I saw the prompt.

I especially liked

I am only human, but with You, Lord,
I am forever so much more.

To me, this invokes Psalm 139:14, Isaiah 1:18 and Psalm 16:10. It points out that, independent and separate from Hashem, we are unworthy of His Love (Chesed, if you will), but by accepting His Love, we are made worthy.

If I had any problem with any part of your psalm, it would be with the use of the word ‘sparkle’ in the second line. I suppose it’s because the word ‘sparkle’ in its modern usage seems a little frivolous in a praise psalm. But that could be just me.

Anyway, thank you for your psalm and the reverent reflection it invoked.
