I found your "Spring Word Search" in the "Anniversary Reviews" forum today, reviewed by someone else that I respect. I love springtime and was in the mood for doing a word search puzzle, so your title drew me in and I clicked and read your poem description and list of words to solve. I then played your puzzle, and enjoyed it greatly, so I decided to give you a review as a little anniversary gift. Happiest anniversary wishes to you and best wishes on your writing future too!

I loved your "Spring Word Search" so much. It put me in such a springtime mood I forgot how cold I was for the time I was playing it.

I thought it was smart and kind of you to put the words in alphabetical order. I tend to scan these things before playing and some words jumped out at me, so I could find them easily in your alphabetized list.

My favorite word to find was "butterflies" as it made me look forward to seeing them again in person this spring, Lord willing, of course.

I thought you did a great job with selecting a variety of words to search for, and that you had a nice mix of short, medium, and long length words. Ironically, I tend to find the longer ones more easily and "warm" was the last one I found.

I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your "Spring Word Search".

I loved how the whole board turns green and flashes when we complete a word search puzzle here. I guess that's more the site's design, but if you hadn't made a list of nice clues, I wouldn't have completed the puzzle, so you deserve some credit too.

I thought the activity genre you selected for this "Spring Word Search" was an appropriate match for it.

I loved the beautiful spring flower-themed thumbnail picture you included with this "Spring Word Search."


IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:

In the spirit of helpfulness, and because of the requirements of a new reviewing challenge I joined recently, I have one little suggestion to make your piece stronger. If you're interested in some constructive criticism, read on. But if you aren't, no worries. Just know that I enjoyed your piece and move on to the next section.

I'd recommend adding two more genres, as we are allowed three, and people do search by genre here. More genres might mean more chances for your lovely word search to be discovered by others here. Perhaps "seasonal," "holiday," "garden," "personal," or "experience" might be nice options to consider? There's a drop down list, as you know, because you had to use it to select other. I don't have it memorized; those are just some suggestions. I'm not even sure if seasonal is a genre here, but it was the first option to pop into my mind. The actual list will probably be more helpful.



As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't.


CONCLUSION:

I enjoyed your "Spring Word Search," and it was nice to be thinking about spring and it's beauty and blessings while I played it.
