I saw that the other person gave your poem five stars, so figured it would be a good read, and I clicked, and read your poem and enjoyed it greatly, so I decided to give you a review as a little anniversary gift. Your poem was filled with feeling and sensory details and was lovely to read. Because it's been so gray and rainy here, it was especially easy to picture everything in my mind as I read it.

I thought the free verse plus refrain style worked well with the message of your poem.

My favorite line was "Warm shelter from the gray." Lovely!

I wondered if this poem was written for a particular challenge or contest here at writing.com or a school assignment or just written for fun.

I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your "March 23" poem.

I wondered if you still lived in Maryland and whether you kept in touch with the person you were writing about.

I thought the relationship genre you selected for this poem was an appropriate match for it.

I'd recommend choosing two more genres, as we are allowed three, and people do search by genre here. Perhaps "love / romance," "cultural," "biographical," "personal," or "experience might be nice options to consider? There's a drop down list, as you know, because you had to use it to select "relationship." I don't have it memorized; those are just some suggestions. The actual list will probably be more helpful.

It's always nice for me as a reader to have the form and line count listed below the poem, perhaps in a "notes" section. I don't know how long it took me to start doing that, but once I did, readers responded favorably. So I'd recommend adding that information beneath your poem.

It might help you get more future readers if you added a thumbnail picture to your story, if your membership level allows that. Pictures are attention getting and could help your story stand out in a list of search results.

As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't.
