*CakeB* HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary ReviewsOpen in new Window.*CakeP*

Hello, Santeven Quokklaus, aka stevengepp!

INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

*Bulletg* I enjoyed reading your "Children Characters" blog post every time I read it, including both times today.

*Bulletg* Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end.

MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

*Bulleto* Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I read this "Children Characters" blog post of yours earlier today, and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "December" file. *Smile* ). I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting and encouraging.

*Bulleto* Your blog post made me think a lot about my childhood. It was unusual, to say the least. I had to behave as an adult early on. So I wonder if my previous child characters were written through my childhood lens, or a more average one? I don't often read my old stories so I'll just tuck this bookmarked piece away for the next time I'm writing child characters.

*Bulleto* I liked that you started with your friend's story. No one really likes being told they are wrong, but smart people learn to take constructive feedback like what you gave your friend. I hope she accepts it more graciously in the future, if you help her with more writing projects. It is harder to write about things you haven't lived, for sure.

*Bulleto* I thought you did a great job with the post's subject. I might have missed it on this read around, but did you mention that you're a parent too? I think readers would like to know that.

*Bulleto* I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your "Children Characters" blog post.

*Bulleto* I thought the personal, writing, and educational genres you selected were appropriate for this "Children Characters" blog post (and overall blog) of yours.

IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:
I would love to have something great to share here, but, other than mentioning that you're a parent, if you indeed didn't, I can't think of any improvements. Even with my one suggestion (which may not be well founded... and even if it is, you may have reasons for not sharing that, and that's totally cool too), I think it's wonderful as it is. Well done! *Clap*

As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't.

CONCLUSION:
*Bulletv* I enjoyed reading your "Children Characters" blog post, and empathized with your sentiments that you expressed in it.

*Bulletv* Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, knowledge, heart, experiences, and writing with the Writing.Com community!

*Bulletv* Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with success and joy for you, and healing for your friend!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance!
PWheeler
