Hi dogpack,

This is a fantastic story. The tone is aggressive. It takes all the reader's attention and makes them want to read on. The reader is wondering why anyone would write a writing contest telling them of the pitfalls of writing. They will read to the last word. In the story, someone writes a letter to the writing competition Writer's Cramp, telling them about how to not get any writing done. The story is narrative as opposed to conflict oriented. The is rare in literature and very interesting. There is no doubt about what is going on here. The characterization is fully developed and believable. The story concentrates on the writer of the letter, and they come across as a real person. There is no dialogue but it is not needed here. The description is detailed and vivid. It puts the reader all the way into the story. The story is well structured and consistent in terms of point of view and tense. You have accomplished a great deal in just a few words. Great job.
