There's something about waking up on a snow-filled winter day, when the snow is nice and crisp, allowing one to see the tracks of any creature that showed up within the last few hours, or days even. It just fills one with wonder, as they follow the path, making note of any intersections, especially if one trail vanishes into nothing.
