In the poem, a Shepard is so entranced by the beauty of nature in the rain he does not notice that his sheep have all gotten away. I love poems which tell stories. I loved this poem and read to the last word. The free verse works well in this poem, and you have handled it very well. There is a wonderful rhythm here. The poem flows extremely well.
