What a fun way to do a birth announcement!

Wow, John Adam Sheneman the fourth is now probably nine years old! I'm not the best at math though... even still! He's likely old enough to read this lovely limerick announcing his birth. I hope he does and loves it!

Your love and pride for your newest-at-the-time grandson shined throughout the poem.

My favorite line was: "That my ego is expanding its girth!" It made me smile. I love reading happy things and it made me happy that you were so thrilled over your grandson's birth.

I hope you do limericks for any more grandchildren born into your family. Feel free to let me know if you do.

The only improvement I can think of has nothing to do with your writing. It would be to replace the "other" genre with something someone might actually search for. Perhaps "personal" or experience?" That might help you get more readers.
