Greetings and welcome to writing.com! Wow, I found this one of your poems using the Random Read and Review button. This is excellent: an honest, dark and potentially dreary examination of the morbidly obsessive thoughts of "what if" that consume your mind at night. I can relate so deeply to this - I used to think strange thoughts just like these when I was alarmingly young. I pondered the existence of God, the meaning of life, the definition of time, and even questioned my own existence and what lay beyond this life. It was so weird, because now that I'm older I don't think like that anymore. I don't spend time with the "big questions" because I'm too busy with day to day life and drowning myself in stuff like music and writing. Sometimes I think I was a lot smarter when I was six years old... Anyway, you really struck a chord here, and I love how you push it all down at the end and resolve to quit dwelling on unanswerable questions and get some sleep. This could easily be a rap or a song, and there's so much philosophy packed in these simple and vulnerable words. As with your previous item, I recommend adding a third relevant genre, and "Philosophy" is perfect here. It reminds me of (here we go again ) the Imagine Dragons album Smoke + Mirrors, full of moody mystique. Have you considered adding artwork to these items? You could use AI, or make something yourself if you feel like it. Take care, thanks for sharing and keep writing My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
