The light of a lightbulb. When on, we can see. When off, and it's dark, we can't. Sometimes a lightbulb dies, and we must change it. In this case, Trust is compared to Light, how it is beautiful when it is there, and how it is dark when it is gone. Just like a lightbulb, when Trust dies, a new one is needed.
