An interesting mix of science with Christianity with this poem which helped me learn a lot. Your poem does well carry a rhythm and rhyme. I found the theme intriguing, reading the information offered below the poem to put into context before pursuing this item offering.

There is some great word play, especially in the opening verses. That first verse, especially, with the multi-syllabic pairing of "Electromagnetic" and "automatic" set a tone.

The aspect of how brain waves function can be measured, but from the poem I assume science can't decide how it got there? There is the question of 'far away' in the second verse or in the third, possible reason why one can be close to God with a prayer, possibly answered. Further suggesting that it's possible the brain waves could be the way he speaks to His flock.

Wasn't sure about last verse and wanted to Google, but it's late. Is there a suggested connection between telepathy and empathy, and if telepathy is real, because all I can recall is spoon bending and the movie, "Carrie." Otherwise, I see the last verse as two halves that don't make a whole (as in statement), but do offer the ending rhyme.

The information offered after poem reminded me of our connection to monkeys. And do monkeys also hear God? If the supercollider at Hadron is looking for a 'god particle' or something that can prove existence on Earth, is there going to be any answers?

There is so much at work on this page that intrigues and gives me further things to consider. I found it very informative and entertaining. Thank you for sharing.
