This is a fantastic poem. The tone is tinged with sorrow and regret. It grabs all the reader's attention and makes them want to read on. The poem is about being betrayed by someone you love. I am hoping that the speaker will be able to pick up the pieces and learn to trust again one day. I read to the last word to find out if this happened. I loved this poem.
