What a story structure behind the story! It is not only dramatic but also an artistic one. Though it's a short-length poetry. Only eight lines are there. But, the interest remains intact. It's truly a masterpiece.
Moonlight attracts Mermaids. Moonlight reflects in the water and creates a dreamland there. Knowing they will be in danger, the fishermen wait for them on that spot, despite that, they don't deny the attraction of the Moonlight's beauty. They take risks and often they are caught in the trap of the fishermen. The moon is beautiful, and Moonlight is more beautiful, but that beauty can create danger.
What an amazing poem it is!
