Greetings, iKïyå§ama! I am reviewing this because I discovered it oon Read & Review. I could not pass this up. First of all, my reviews are intended to be helpful and encouraging, not hurtful in any way. Use what you feel works for you, and leave the rest. The Positives/What I Liked This heart-felt piece is such a wonderful tribute to your father. You wrote this before his death, then noted his death at the bottom of the window. I think it was lovely that you noted he had died, though painful, I am sure. I love how you began each of the seven-line five stanzas with: A stubborn mule he has been called, It made me smile. And aren't all fathers stubborn mules? Few will differ, I am sure! Our daddies are special to us daughters, flaws and all. It sounds like you had a wonderful relationship with yours. You describe his complaints, his unshakable pride, his values...all so lovingly. I think my favorite lines are: 'Many hardships might come your way, and you will cry along the way 'But you will make it through, you'll see, because I have all my faith in you.' Your daddy loved you, that is for certain. This is such a nice tribute to him, Kiya. It brought tears to my eyes. Suggestions/Comments to Consider Stanze 2, Line 7: sitting on father's lap sitting on Father's lap or sitting on my father's lap Final Thoughts It's so obvious how much you thought of your father. You must've been a very special daughter to him. Thank you for sharing! Have a great day and... K e e p on W r i t i n g ! Cubby ")
