It's a wonderful creation. That free verse poem has been written about the favourite of the poet's favourite season Autumn. The paints a fantastic image of nature which we often see this season. We get some respite from the summer in this season and come with the specific message, the Winter season is not far away from us.
If we read the poem carefully, we can also observe that this poetry tells us a part of our life cycle, too. Our lives can't go in the same order. There are a lot of ups and downs. The summer days can be compared with the success of our lives, whereas the overcast conditions indicate the struggles of our lives.
It is truly a gem.
