*CakeB* HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary ReviewsOpen in new Window.*CakeP*

Hello, Jim-D!

INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

*Bulletg* Wow! You sure do get around a lot. *Smile*

*Bulletg* Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end.

MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

*Bulleto* Happy Writing.Com Anniversary day and month! I read this travel blog post of yours sometime in the past and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "June" file. *Smile* ). I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting.

*Bulleto* My heart went out to you on all the travel delays, especially those which led to lack of sufficient sleep. I can totally understand why you'd want a week home now and then, even without the delays, though with them, that down time must become even more important. It sounds to me like you used your down time very well. *Smile* I'm sure it made your wife happy to have you home too.

*Bulleto* I wondered how you liked Dover, New Hampshire? You must have blogged about that on a previous trip. If I remember and have time, I'll look for that post later this month.

*Bulleto* I'm glad you enjoyed St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada, and got to go to the easternmost point in Canada multiple times. That's something I'd like to do one day. I think both of my brothers who I grew up with have done that (been there). I'm not sure if my Mom ever made it, but I think she wanted to.

*Bulleto* Your lighthouse picture was nice to see and added some color and variety to your travel blog post.

*Bulleto* I thought the travel and experience genres you selected were perfect for this travel blog of yours.

IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:
In the spirit of helpfulness, I have a couple little suggestions to make your travel blog post stronger. If you're interested in some constructive criticism, read on. But if you aren't, no worries. Just know that I enjoyed your travel blog post and move on to the next section.

In this sentence, I think there's a typo: "The training coordinator who originally scheduled their classes did not realize the type of system they have, and classes they didn't need had been scheduled, while classes the did need were not scheduled." The last "the" in this sentence seems like it should be "they." So it's just missing a letter. If you made the change I recommended, the sentence would then look like this: "The training coordinator who originally scheduled their classes did not realize the type of system they have, and classes they didn't need had been scheduled, while classes they did need were not scheduled."

The other recommendation has nothing to do with your writing, but is to help you gain more readers, and maybe even increase your chances of winning a Quill award, should someone nominate this blog for an award. It's to change your "other" genre to something else. I really doubt anyone ever searches for "other" things, but probably they do search for "career" or "work" or "personal." I don't have the genres memorized, but perhaps if there's a work or career genre, that would work, or personal or experience (one of them might not be included as a Quill genre, so check first). You might already have these as tags though, so that could help you get readers too.

Bonus feedback:
Your news feed posts help me remember to read your blog the most, so definitely keep sharing the links there. I'm sure I'm not your only fan who appreciates that you make your posts easy to find. *Smile*

CONCLUSION:
*Bulletv* You have a relatable writing style and I greatly enjoyed reading your travel blog post.

*Bulletv* Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, adventures, spirit, and writing with the Writing.Com community!

*Bulletv* Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with blessings and joy for you!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance!
PWheeler
