Hello Leslie Loo Author Icon

I found this story on the "The Shameless "Plug" PageOpen in new Window.

First impression:

The ice cream cone in the thumbnail is a good way to set the stage along with the title. The intro line explains that a very short woman has to deal with annoying people who ask her stupid questions because of her height.

What works:

Assuming that this is fiction and not a real case of asking a stranger for her ice cream cone, this is hilarious. People who belittle others simply for the size of their body - no matter what that would be - are wrong and need to be belittled right back by getting tricked.

The nice thing about this story is that nobody got hurt. The woman didn't even want the ice cream cone in the first place, so it's not as if she incurred any damage from giving it away. Even though she was tricked.

What needs work:

or Maria the Mini”. *Right* The period outside of the quotes is the UK way of punctuating. In your Biography, your location is set to United States, so it should look like this: Mini."

I started to wonder, What if I’m missing *Right* what has to be in lowercase after a comma.

Final thoughts:

Fun little story. It says Part 1. If I come across Part 2, I might read it too.
