Hello Brenpoet Author Icon

First impression:

Upon reading the title and the intro line that mentions that this acrostic poem is for the grand-daughter written by the grand-mother who is listed in first person and then the ending where the grand-mother is listed in third person, I had to toggle back and forth from intro to end a few times to parse out that the first and third person grand-mother are one and the same person. For a moment, I wondered if the acrostic poem was posted here on behalf of someone else.

What works:

The font size and the way color was employed to offset the first letters from the remainder of the lines worked really well to create a pleasing and easy to read experience.

What needs work:

Maybe choose just one point of view person as to whom wrote the acrostic.
While I like the color, if you were ever to change it, I suggest going with a darker color for the lines.

Final thoughts:

Ah, the sweetness of a newborn child. There is nothing that compares to the wonder and love we instantly feel when we meet such a new human for the first time. They are so delicate yet strong and so worth of our undivided doting. This was first posted in 2007. I hope Jessica Kate is living a good, healthy life and is advancing in school and maybe already a profession as far as she wants to.
