Old Ball Game [13+] Music and a day at the ballpark have a lasting effect (WC 1860) |
A Review From The Iron Bank Of Braavos. Title: Old Ball Game Hi I am Megan, one of the sly foxes. First Impression: I am not a fan of Baseball but this story looked inviting so I am dropping by with my observations. Some of the baseball lyrics are in this story and they blend well into the story. I always liked them. Seems like the young man was anxious to see the game. I went with it. Spending time with one's father is so important and this story does just that. What needs your attention: I didn't really see a mystery to this. No one was murdered. The man lived his life and remembers his father. His Dad didn't die mysteriously. This story holds a reader's interest due to it to being a family thing. What part I liked best: The boy was close with his father and in the end, he saw what Heaven would be like so he went towards the light. Heart touching. I like the baseball lyrics. The conversations with the man's father is interesting. Overall Impression: This is well written and the characters are interesting. Looks like you spent time with this. This makes you want to sing. The conversation tells the story pretty much. The ending is appropriate and ended both happy and sad. The views and opinions are mainly the things discovered by the reader and therefore do not reflect necessarily to the activity, group, and or event being affiliated within. This is only the opinion and suggestions of the reviewer and it is still up to the author to to consider this as a corrective action or otherwise. Thank you for letting me review your work. It has been my pleasure.
