Hello L_P I'm sending this review in connection with "Game of Thrones" ![]() ![]() This story was really amusing, and actually brought back fond memories of an old cat we used to have - a stray who stayed with us for a time - who was so scrappy that he smacked our two dogs around and had them running in fear whenever he strolled around the yard. ![]() I really enjoyed the cat's POV and commentary in this story; I think it did a great job of adding levity and entertainment value to the story as you showed the battle of wills between not just Mittens and Spot, but also Mittens and his owner. It was a fun, entertaining read. ![]() The few parts in the story where Spot's POV (or interpreted interactions through dialogue) showed up became a little confusing from the perspective of who was speaking, because we had Mittens' commentary, the narrator's insights, and then Spot's perceived communication as well, which led certain parts of the story to get a little muddled in terms of the point of view character and who was saying what. ![]() Overall, I thought this was an entertaining and enjoyable story, and Mittens is definitely a character I won't soon forget! It's always a pleasure to read your work; you know your way around writing a compelling short story, that's for sure! Nice work. ![]() Respectfully, Jeff ![]() ![]() "Rating & Reviewing Philosophy" ![]() DISCLAIMER: The views and opinions on this review are mainly the things discovered by the reader and therefore, do not reflect necessarily to the group, activity and/or event being affiliated herein.
