It's a nice humour poetry. Supposedly, it looks funny. A man who is an avid eater is halfway through, he finds that he has forgotten to have his snacks. So he turns to get those. But he sees the march of an endless hungry people for bread. He returns to his work and sees the dream of rolling a stone up an endless bread hill.
But, if we try to see the real meaning of the poetry in-depth, we will find, that this poetry tries to highlight a burning issue of the modern world. This is nothing but hunger. Many people in our nation are even now below the poverty level. They suffer to earn a little food. I saw them. They are habituated to starvation. A little glimpse of that mournful scenario has been exposed here. It's a sad scene.
Some think that it is a pessimistic thought. But it's reality.
Now we focus on that man who is strong in calculating every matter. His wisdom provokes him to stone up an endless bread hill. That is truly a positive thinking. We should do something for those helpless people. Wishing to serve something for the nation in your limited capacity should be the primary objective of our lives.
I especially like the message.
It is an excellent poetry.
