Wow! What a beautiful article it is! We shall remain grateful to you for this well-timed writing effort.
That article is written on the Delicate Tokens of Love from the 18th Century. We started to celebrate the Valentine's Day long ago. There is a sad story behind it. Saint Valentine was a noble person. He loved everybody and tried to spread it. But in the year 269, he became a martyr, the martyr of love. His last advice was to tighten the bond of love with each other. So celebrate the day(14th day of February) as a love day. There is a point. He told us to circulate the affection among all people. It was maintained until the end of the 8th century. Then it was gradually transformed as we do now.
The writer very correctly points out that the main change came in Victorian England in the 18th century. The pattern of gifts became more meaningful and artistic. Even acrostic poetries are made for this purpose. They could feel more touch of the heart. That was an inexplicable feeling. That labour behind the gift was full of joy which most people can not imagine. Only a few people maintain that tradition.
The article has enriched us with a lot of information.
It is an excellent performance.
