It is indeed a very important article. There is no doubt about it. Despite of lot of ifs and buts. the main problems remain static.
A large number of Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash drivers and conveyance labourers protested across the US on Wednesday on Valentine's Day. They have some proper demands. I feel sympathy for them.
But who will pay those extra costs? The answer is simple, the car owner. But where do they earn that money? From the customers. So the charge for every ride must be increased. That happens in the city of joy, Kolkata. They increase fares by 25℅. So except for emergencies, riders avoid taking rides. They lost 75℅ passengers. What a pathetic scene!
This should be an alarming sign. Take lessons from the mistakes. Please do not repeat the same errors. Consider the capacity of the people, too. If the rate is too much, they simply boycott the rides. Then what will you do, brothers?
As an article, it is superb. Undoubtedly it is a burning issue. The concerned authority must think about it.
