An Angel Army Review Hi GERVicious Ghoul ☬ . I'm Polter-JACE: Cruising ... , and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "How To: Portfolio [Manage Items]" as submitted to "WDC L'il Helper Contest" . I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story. Overall Impression. Thank you for taking time to prepare a submission to my contest. "Writing.Com 101" is a fabulous Reference Guide for all WDC members. But, like tax publications, there is always some small aspect that needs further explanation. That's the premise for "The File Cabinet" (FC). I seek short, specific How-To items that explain the significance of a small part of the larger picture. Your chosen topic, How To - Portfolio [Manage Items], is a valid topic for the FC. But I found it daunting to follow and not easy to navigate as written. And I'm a member who has used this feature before. I wonder how a new member might fare. A few suggestions follow: Your opening is good--you focus on Manage Items, which is a great subject. I like your use of color to help identify particular aspects of the text. But it's a complicated topic to follow. Clicking on the gear icon beside the Portfolio heading will expand, not collapse, into several sub-headers. Also, mention that an error message will be displayed when an action is unable to be completed. The error must be fixed before you can continue. I do know what I'm suggesting here, and the complexity for its success. Perhaps each sub-topic should be a stand-alone entry in which every potential situation can be explained. Obviously this is a suggestion. Please let me know if you're unable to separate this item, or if you decide to delete the item. Technical and Editorial Considerations. In this section I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc. I noted one spelling error. [Reoder] Should be: [Reorder] My Rating. 4.5. Thank you for sharing this offering. Please accept these comments as offered in friendship and support. They are but my humble opinion.
