Making the most of Your Portfolio [E] An easy guide to spicing up your portfolio. |
An Angel Army Review Hi Sticky Draconic Vampire saysHH . I'm Polter-JACE: Cruising ... , and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "Making the most of Your Portfolio" as a submission to "WDC L'il Helper Contest" . I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story. Overall Impression. Thank you for taking time to prepare a submission to my contest. "Writing.Com 101" is a fabulous Reference Guide for all WDC members. But, like tax publications, there is always some small aspect that needs further explanation. That's the premise for "The File Cabinet" . I seek short, specific How-To items that explain the significance of a small part of the larger picture. For example, your opening statement is good. Then you go on to explain several different topics in your article. Any one topic would be acceptable. Let's talk Skins. You tell what they are, how to find them, and how to access one in this article. But, if Skins are important, tell about the color schemes inherent in different skins. You can change Skins any time and as often as you wish. You can try one before you use one. You can customize them, you can view them on a scrollable page. ETC. These are the things that Newbies and older members want to know. While I didn't select your article as a winner, I believe you have topics that I would love to include in the FC. Flesh them out, use bullets and easy to understand instructions. I submit that just your research into some of these topics will show you things you never knew. I hope to see future entries from you. Technical and Editorial Considerations. In this section I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc. I found no issues here. My Rating. 4.0. Thank you for sharing this offering. Please accept these comments as offered in friendship and support. They are but my humble opinion.
