Permanence [E] I drew a tattoo in marker. |
HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews" Hi Erika . I'm JACE , and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "Permanence" in honor of your WDC anniversary. I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story. Overall Impression. Hello. I chose this particular offering because of your item description about a tattoo, and my wife who has always hated them. Her daughter, on the other hand, embraces tattoos whole heartedly. I had suggested to my wife that she get a non-permanent tattoo. She, of course, declined. My initial thought while reading this was of my kids drawing on themselves with permanent markers. It never seemed to be a dry erase marker. Of course, they did so because it was fun. This seems not the case for your poem. Having paper on which you might stamp this tattoo, therefore makes a tattoo less permanent. It becomes more permanent by placing your hand on a wall, which is not easily disposed, despite the ink naturally wearing off a hand through time and cleaning. Technical and Editorial Considerations. In this section I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc. I don't find any problems with punctuation, etc. My Rating. 4.5. Thank you for sharing this offering, and I look forward to seeing you around in the coming year. Please accept these comments as offered in friendship and support. They are but my humble opinion.
