An Angel Army Review Hi Nixie🦊 . Since I love reading (and reviewing) How To/Advice articles, and I enjoy entering contests, how could I pass up your "two birds with one stone" article? I'm Polter-JACE: Cruising ... , and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "Invalid Item" . I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story. Overall Impression. I've been a member for more than 15 years, and have made my share of mistakes entering a contest. My latest effort leading to disqualification was just this week. Disqualification! It's such a distracting and humiliating word. As is often the case, it was my error. I did everything right, but entered the wrong link in the post. Fortunately there was time to correct my oversight. Enough of my past--let's look at your future (of this item). First, my older eyes appreciate you using a larger font size. The layout and use of bullets makes it easy to follow your points. May I suggest using either all different bullets, or the same bullet for each point. I was distracted as a reader from the mix of these at the beginning of your essay. I would also suggest reading your item carefully for editing purposes. I do this out loud as I often hear problems before I see them. For example, the following contains sentence fragment: You're guaranteed to have at least one person read your entry. Which may lead to a Quill nomination. Your individual bullets detailing the various things to consider before entering are well thought out. Technical and Editorial Considerations. In this section I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc. Because of the bullet nature of your essay, I'm not looking at the actual writing mechanics too carefully. Favorite Part. It's pointless to be angry if you disqualified yourself. Frustrating, for sure, but remember that this contest prompted you to write something. Many times, participating in contests is the only thing that jump starts my writing! My Rating. 4.5. Thank you for sharing this offering. Please accept these comments as offered in friendship and support. They are but my humble opinion. Reviewed by JACE My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
