This poem is a realise poem. There is no doubt about it. From birth, we are running behind the goals that are set by our parents. For the sake of the target, we often sacrifice the little blisses that come into our route. Those are lucrative but the time does not permit us to stop for a while. But after a certain period, we realize, that we were wrong. But it is too late to begin a fresh journey. Particularly Our age is the biggest burden of all. The age does not allow us to perform. Despite our desire, we can not do the same. That creates a pain in our hearts. We observe these several times but repeat the same blunder.
The poet also observes that carefully. How do people take lessons from the faults of previous generations? Until they try to rectify this, those unfortunate days will be repeated. So, after understanding the errors, we should apply rectified forms in our lives, otherwise, those sad days will not end perfectly.
Though the tone of this poetry is too tragic it is a real condition of our present society. It is a brilliant poetry.
