A Poet's Tool Box [E] Tools for the trade. |
HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews" Hi Red Writing Hood <3 . I'm JACE , and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "A Poet's Tool Box" in honor of your WDC anniversary. I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story. Overall Impression. I went through a poetic phase on Writing.Com shortly after I joined. This was not a writing journey I envisioned when I joined. But I discovered embracing writing poetry in its many forms was quite enjoyable. I spent time (and money) expanding my writing library on poetry, and searching out poetry references on site here. Finding this offering was a joy, and is one that I'll be enjoying for some time to come as I search all your references. Thanks for sharing. Technical and Editorial Considerations. In this section I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc. Obviously, listing the extremely numerous items in such a manner that someone searching for a specific topic can be found is problematic. Using a major topic and alphabetical approach seems to solve most issues. However, this is an extremely long article with a lot of listings requiring a great deal of scrolling. One suggestion: List the major topics (*MUSIC*, *IMMAGERY*, *FORMS*, etc) at the top of the article in such a manner that it links to that actual spot in the article thus eliminating all the scrolling. My Rating. 4.5. A very useful directory for all poets. Thank you for sharing this offering, and I look forward to seeing you around in the coming year. Please accept these comments as offered in friendship and support. They are but my humble opinion. Reviewed by JACE My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
