I like how you take this from being about ordinary things like pizza and cats, and go on to reveal that 'you' are imaginary, and then suddenly we see the problems the boy faces and what is going on in his mind. I also like the way it comes a full circle back to the seemingly ordinary, which has now taken on a new implication.

I think you've done a great job with the prompt and the word limit.
