I came across this item of yours in Read & Review. You have created an easy to read document about words and how to use them in poetry. I like that you included some very basic, but needed technical instructions how to find words, how to investigate them further, and then how to really understand where they come from and why the words are the way they are. "Back when dirt was new" ha! That made me smile. I've never heard that before, but true to your own advice, it quickly created an image in my mind that summed up what you means like a thousand words, but not in a thousand words. The way the words make the mouth move are true for English, but not necessarily for other languages. The word for small in German is "klein" and it actually stretches the mouth. But of course this is for poets writing in English, so it works for English.
