I discovered your forum on the contest listing page. This is a great idea. I like how you have set the page up from top to bottom in an informative way. There is a slight discrepancy between your banner and your text. On the banner it says that The Society in the Shadow of Civilization was established in 1513, but in the text below the GIF it mentions 1514. That second one is probably easier to edit.

Alternative reality is very attractive to me. I am think Escape Day is real and will actually happen. The reason for my firm belief is that it is not an Armageddon scenario, but one that will save the world. Unheard of, that's why it has to be true! If it weren't true, someone would have exploited it for hundreds of years already.

I really like that this is a once-a-year contest. I just closed one like that. It makes so much sense and raises the stakes for those who want to take part to really get their act together and write. I hope to take part. Your prompt requirements are very well explained. It's almost as if the story is already there, we only have to populate it with compelling characters for you.
