You give a very powerful message in this poem. Yes, human beings have done a lot of damage and certainly the Higher Power must feel the need to intervene. The verse structure and rhyme scheme work to bring out your message. Sometimes when you used a long word, I had to read that line twice -- but that didn't matter as it didn't really interrupt my reading.

As I read it, I was wondering if it was a reflection of what we're going through currently, with the covid crisis. It shows that, over the centuries, the behavior of human beings hasn't changed much. It also shows that this poem is valid for multiple times in human history.

My suggestion would be for WritingML like center, font and size.
