Greetings, bobturn, I am reviewing this today as a judge for the "Writing 4 Kids Contest " . First of all, my reviews are intended to be helpful and encouraging, not hurtful in any way. Use what you feel works for you, and leave the rest. Visually appealing Easy to understand Followed the prompt & rules Summary: Moo Cow's life was without adventure, but when Santa and his reindeer land at the farm, Moo Cow wonders what it would be like to fly. After the wind blows Santa's hat off, it lands atop Moo Cow's head. That's when the magic begins. Characters: Moo Cow, Santa, the reindeer, and Jimmy Boy (Moo Cow, of course, is my favorite!) Dialogue: Yes. Well done. Setting: A farm on Christmas Eve Technicalities: There are a few areas that you might want to consider looking at, though not many. Mostly similar to Vixen Blitzen which needs a comma between names. Also, How would it feel like to fly perhaps might be worded as What would it feel like to fly or How would it feel to fly. Favorites: How would it feel like to fly, light as a bubble anywhere you wanted to go is one of my favorite lines because I'd never thought about flying being as light as a bubble! Very cool! I also really liked: She’d been promoted, as Santa Claus had noted, to become the first flying cow who had floated. Final thoughts: Great visuals, especially of Moo Cow. I loved that the story included rhyme without it being set up in stanzas. Great work, Bob! As always, I feel you really have a knack for writing children's stories. Your imagination, imagery, and flow would make any child (and adult!) smile. Have a great day and... K e e p on W r i t i n g ! Cubby ")
