*LeafO*  Welcome to WdC from the "Newbie Welcome WagonOpen in new Window. *LeafO*

Good morning, Silver Phoenix Author Icon, and welcome to WdC.
For the record, my real name is Jack Tyler, and I am a former steampunk author who has transitioned to a former horror author, but I try to review a wide variety of styles and genres. While I have a few books in print, I am neither a famous writer nor a renowned critic. I'm just a guy with an opinion that I'm here to share, and I hope you find it to your liking. First off, let me state how impressed I am; for someone who's only been here for less than a month, you have quite an extensive portfolio.
I settled on this piece because of the quiet, patient strength it embodies and articulates so well. Your bio doesn't hint at your age — and you should include at least an approximate age and writing experience to help your reviewers highlight what would best serve you in a review — but as someone deep into retirement, let me assure you that you are right. Your day will come. Today, tomorrow, or next week, you will wake up to find that everyone who has dismissed you, who has denigrated you, who has done you any form of dirt, has created a creature with a strength that they cannot imagine. You have captured this growth superbly.
On top of the superb message of the poem itself, I can find nary a typo, not a misused word, not a hiccup of any kind. It is my honor to hang a five-star rating on this, and to thank you for sharing this message of positivity. It should be required reading for every suffering underdog.
I don't know whether you write as a hobby or as a profession, but I hope the talent you exhibit here takes you far on your journey.

Read well, and write better,
*Captainwheel* Jack
