What brought Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?

*Cow* You sent me a nice review recently (sorry for the delay) so here I am to read and review.

What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* There is a melancholy theme to this poem, but also you look to the future and to doing for others as the future unfolds by planting the trees and providing a haven for the fledglings.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

This is my favorite part:

"and the mockingbirds are taunting me.
I promise I will plant them
a magnolia tree on the ridge,
a safe haven for their fledglings."

There is tremendous generosity of spirit in this. Though taunted, one provides. It is how parents are supposed to be with their children in the end. Doing what one can and hoping for the best for the future.

I think there is a lot of unstated love here. Well done!

I do not do detailed edits or harsh critiques because I don't enjoy wielding a sharp pencil on other people's dreams/works. I always think what if someone did that to my child's writing dreams. Everyone here is someone's "child" in terms of writing and creativity.
