Hi Alana Author Icon! Welcome to WDC! I found your piece by searching for coffee related items to review. I hope my review is helpful! And let me know as well if there is any questions I can answer for you about our WDC community *Bigsmile*

*StarB* This is a brief introduction to a character who we know to be a writer and someone who appreciates the small pleasures in life. She enjoys warm coffee and a comfortable chair and a slow start to a good day. I enjoy the scene you have painted here, and I wonder if you intend to continue this or expand it into a full story. You have given me a few clues about the depth of the character you've created - you describe her as sweet, insecure, careful, gentle, but also with a trace of a wild side with her "smirk" as she tastes the coffee. I wonder what adventures she would get up to if you give her a problem to solve. This feels very much like the start of a longer work. So many things could happen from here - maybe someone comes into the coffee shop looking for her? Or she is witness to a theft or other crime that happens in the coffee shop and her "good day" turns into something quite different? You've really intrigued me! Do let me know if you write more of this scene.

*StarG* Again, welcome to WDC! Take care,
Emily
