There are few types of people I despise more than pimps. Okay, maybe a prolific serial killer with a torture complex. This guy, Lincoln--shudders. However, kudos to you, the writer, because you made me see, feel, "experience" along with Sugar, except for the drug abusing portion...that one was beyond me. But the pain? The fear? The terror? The resentment and contempt? The desire for Lincoln to simply disappear forever in a puff of smoke? I'm so there.

But that "John" who isn't, in the ute, was it a Hummer? Anyway--will we see more of him? I seldom am simultaneously so terrifed and so fascinated! I want to KNOW! Who, what, why, what is his problem--or not a problem. Anyway, his Quality of Weird is highly distinctive.
