That was a remarkably speedy read! I enjoyed it, particularly the way you develop the setting, plus the character development. Meric wasn't anywhere near as smart-mouthed as I feared he would be. You penned a delightful line in "I think passive aggression and opaque rage are pointless.” I think I need to adopt that as a Lesson for myself.

If there are no addresses on Broken Heart Street (what city planner in their right mind would name a street that?), then how does anyone find anything or anyone? I'm thinking of emergency responders and such, as well as visitors. Intriguing. Enquiring minds wish to know..
