Hi, Andie, my name is River and I'm reviewing Leukie, the Lion-Hearted I found this piece in your port.

What Attracted Me to Your Story: I'm reviewing this story as part of the MHWA Monthly Mental Health Challenge in hopes of getting to know my fellow challengers better. What attracted me to this story was my love of animals.

Overall Impression:
This is a well written and heartwarming story. I can identify with your relationship with Leukie. My little dog always slept with me and of course, I spoke to her as an equal.

Character Development: You showed us a beautiful image of Leukie throughout this story. From romping, chasing trains, and watchdog to playmate and friend she comes alive on the page.

My Favourite Part: I was in love with the golden-eyed, sloppy-grinned, fleet-footed but clumsy white puppy.

I found no errors in this piece. A 5 rating from me.

Final Thoughts: I enjoyed this story and I hope you have many happy years with Leukie as your companion.
