Hello surfnrgy, I am Prosperous Snow celebrating , I am reading and reviewing "The Gate"  as part of the "Invalid Item" .

My First Thoughts: The rhythm and rhyming words compliment each other, while the rhythm moves the emotions of longing and curiosity forward at a good pace.

My Favorite Part: I like the metaphor this poem suggests of secrets locked away, which tends to separate people from each other. The last line of this poem is my favorite because it implied hope that the secret can someday be revealed.

My Final Thoughts and/or Suggestions: I encountered no distractions. I enjoyed reading this thought provoking poem because it reminded me that secrets can separate friends.
