Fun facts with the great Dr. Seuss [E] Here's some interesting facts that you may not have know before about the great Dr. Seuss |
HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews" Howdy, Bubblegum Jones, and happy early 6th ‘birthday’ on here! This is a really interesting piece about one of the world’s greatest children’s authors, and even though I thought I knew a lot about Dr. Seuss, apparently I didn’t! As a major NFL fan, that part about the Baltimore Ravens adopting their name from Edgar Allen Poe blew my mind, but it makes perfect sense since that’s where he died. Nor did I know about the pronunciation of his name, although I had an inkling about it. Those parts about Green Eggs and Ham, Yertle the Turtle, and the Academy Award he won for ‘Design for Death’ were also equally interesting, as well as amazing! We all grew up to the poems and stories by this great man, and it was neat to come across this piece about some of his other less known oddities. Excellent job, Bubblegum! And thanks for leaving us with those unanswered questions about his other books! Kee ponw ritin gon, Bubblegum! ‘Twas a pleasure to read, have a HAPPY NEW YEAR, and...
