| (5.0)| Hello, Lyle. I know you aren’t around here physically to read this, but I know you’re up there reading it, which is why I wrote it. I didn’t have the chance to meet you on here since I joined shortly before you moved on and I was just starting to know people. But after reading this, I really wish I’d gotten to know you. I’m 52 but only in the last 5 years have I taken my writing seriously, even though I’ve been writing all my life. To see how you started writing comic books and ‘renting’ them out to your friends for a nickel was really inspiring; it reminded me of how Stephen King started out! But that was just the beginning. It’s remarkable how you moved through all those Newspapers (and even a radio stint!) to eventually owning your own! And it’s even odder that you finally settled in Redding, CA., which is only 75 miles from Weed where I grew up! As I said, you had a really incredible life, sir. I only wish you were still here to share more of your memories with us! Kee ponw ritin gon up there, my friend! You are very missed by all of us, but please know that we’ll be together again soon!
