GOodbye [E] It is mean that how does it feel when someone says goodbye |
This is your local Simply Positive Reviewer, here! Your writing has been selected for review, as part of Simply Positive's mission to bring more light on Authors here at WDC! First Impressions: Hello, and thank you for allowing me to read and review your work entitled: "GOodbye" . I find this story, despite its numerous grammar and spelling troubles, to be an earnest and well-meaning effort to communicate to the reader what the person in the story feels. And thinks. Many times in life, we find ourselves with those around us whom we truly admire. Who truly amaze us. Who are like a gift of Life to all those around them. Some are the life of a party. Some are amazingly intelligent people who will remain quietly listening, off in the corner of a room, and yet others might talk one thousand miles an hour, defying your ability to understand them if you only could! So let there be no doubt, then, that when reading through this writing, we are left wondering if the author is speaking for themselves? Is the person in this story the same person as who wrote this? Sometimes it helps to know, especially, I think, when we review another writer's work. That said, this story is filled with feelings. And these feelings are both strong at times, and at others are filled with acceptance.... Overall Impact: This story reminded me of someone years, and years ago...someone whom I thought was amazingly gifted, made me feel completely at ease, made me feel wanted, interesting, unique. This person was the end-all and the be-all of some many of my dreams. Granted, I was not in the best place on this planet, for I was a newly matriculated student at a college I've never attended. And soon enough, I found I had missed SO MANY of my friends from other colleges too. I stood out like the proverbial sore pinkie to say the least! But lo, behold, this person arrived in my life in ways that I really didn't expect - and a friendship, purely platonic - was born. But soon enough, I wanted this to be more. And no, it wasn't in the cards. It wasn't meant to be. It certainly had plenty to do with my being lonely, and later on I began to see that for what it was worth as well! So this story reminds of that experience I had, an experience that led me to recalling how much I really enjoyed this other person's company and personality. It made all the difference in my otherwise lonely life.... Errors: WORD! The author no doubt has been challenged in writing this story, and for this matter, I must say ... I completely understand the challenges involved, for English is the MOST DIFFICULT LANGUAGE IN THE WORLD. Bar none. So people reading this review, take note; those who try to master English as a second language truly DO have a huge project on their hands, and a little understanding and patience can go a long, long ways.... This said, YES, there are many mistakes. And that is perfectly okay! What I want this author to know is ... is that no matter what, whether its math or physics or playing the piano ... we shall get better at this with PRACTICE. So continue writing in English, and soon enough, you should become more proficient in this regard no matter what! One last thing: the title of this story...check that for a beginning. Perhaps you can spot the error there? Summation: A story, written from the heart, about a person missing the company of another. A story that, years ago, I felt acutely in a very lonely time in my days, and one I shall never forget either. Sometimes when this happens, we must be our very best friend....yes? KEEP WRITING!! Once again, thank you for providing me the opportunity to read and review for Simply Positive; this also has been written in affiliation with
