First Impressions: Hello there, and thank you for allowing me to read and review your very brief story entitled: "Invalid Item" . Granted, more often these days it seems that I find myself reading what many would classify as "flash fiction", and that being the case, I often wonder not if the stories are worth reading (they certainly are!) but rather...will my review do them justice? *Shock2*

For certain, there is a dual trouble when reviewing very small stories: number one, besides the paucity of material to read and ultimately review, the second problem is....is that any review could very well give up the entire story to the person reading that review to begin with!

So, with an eye toward brevity, we write this summation just the same...



Overall Impact: Picture yourself at a Professor's desk, deep deep in papers and volumes and tomes and periodicals... you get the picture.

Picture yourself literally waist deep in all manner of deadlines, all manner of trying to make sense of a work space that only you can make sense of. Only you know where things are kept, only you can look beneath a mound of papers and books and locate precisely the object sought in under ten seconds say...

NOW you've got the picture! *Laugh*



Errors: No errors here, unless someone wants to look up a single word that might not actually BE a word -

" ....miscellaneously...

It strikes me as a kind of word Robin Williams uses in "Good Will Hunting" - the word in question being "ironical". *Rolling*



Summation: Alas, there IS one tiny object that finds its way into all of this debris field, this veritable MOUND of materials that sets the sequence in motion, of the which I am sworn to not reveal.... for it would spoil this story for any reader to happen upon same after they've read this revealing review!
