Greetings, sadz

This is your local Simply Positive Reviewer, here! Your writing has been selected for review, as part of Simply Positive's mission to bring more light on Authors here at WDC!

First Impressions: Hello, and thanks for allowing me to read your riveting short story, "Window Pain.

We are held captive by this writing, a short story in letter form, written by a student (perhaps) looking out a lone window, looking into a future that she feels has no Hope.

In due truthfulness, we do not know the circumstances of her world, her Life, but certainly it is a bleak one.

We know the letter is addressed to someone or someones, and try to make sense out of the sadness from beginning to end...

Overall Impact: There are things that happen in Life, things that preclude circumstances, things that bring about false Hope into this world into impressionable hearts, minds and souls.

We cannot hold ourselves responsible for not somehow knowing that the person in this story would choose such an untimely end; all we know is ... is that she is completely unhappy, without direction, has lost all possible manner of positive thinking.

It becomes a truth then, that in waiting for five long years, she has stared out a single window, not unlike Emily Dickinson in that sense of the word, only to find that at the end of that time, all promise of liberation has been falsehood.

Errors: No errors found in this sad short story.

Summation: There are deaths in this world, deaths that we oftentimes think are completely preventable.

But what if we don't know that person's predicament?

What if do not even know the depths of their unhappiness, the source of their sorrows?

Indeed, their world becomes one of utter blackness, in which they believe that there is no cure for, in any absolute form...

Keep writing!!!!!!
