OVERALL IMPRESSION -
What a very heartwarming story about this doll that was so loved by Nora, broken and restored to beauty.

WHAT I LIKED BEST -
Finding out why Nora was so shy. Great twist of an ending. No wonder the doll made her smile and so very happy.

PLOT~
An old woman works on porcelin dolls restoring them thorugh the use of Art of Kintsugi. Her bones are weary but she still has a very good eye for detail and does her best to make the doll beautiful again, with liquid gold filler instead of trying to make the doll look seamless. When Nora and her mother arrive, they are stunned to see the doll looking so good.

CHARACTER(S)~DESCRIPTION~
An aging woman works hard to make porcelain dolls pretty again, and even though age is making her body ache more and more, her ability to retain her craft hasn't wavered. Nora who was mauled by a dog and smiles for the first time upon seeing her doll restored.

Solid descriptions in your story. I could picture the older woman as she worked, Nora hiding behind her mother and see their happiness when they saw Emily all repaired for the first time.

DIALOG~
Even the way Nora spoke made me wonder why she dragged out the word, but then finding out about the dog attack brought it all home. Well done!
