This is your local Simply Positive Reviewer, here! Your writing has been selected for review, as part of Simply Positive's mission to bring more light on Authors here at WDC! First Impressions: "Invalid Item" is one of those memoir-type poems that envelop a world, a world surrounded now by silence, instead of musical flourish uplifting. For those of us who had learned to play a piano many years ago, we took to heart and mind that before us was a proud instrument, an instrument that could transport us to other worlds if only we learned to play those keys well enough. This poem is sad and respectful simultaneously. We see the duality between the piano and another instrument... a clock. We see how in submission, the clock declares that it has superiority over the piano - and yet it is false pride, for in its simply function of tick tock tick, the clock simply does ONE thing. Compared to the infinite abilities of the piano. Overall Impact: A beautifully style. A very sensitive perspective. Beautiful wording. It enhances itself, and brings us into the room with the "main character" and the "primary antagonist" both together. Existing. Errors: No mistakes found in this work this afternoon! Summation: A beautiful poem that harbors nostaglia, sadness, aloneness, false superiority and so much more. In other words, the author of this poem has written it in the mindset of making sure that it shall make us relate. And indeed, we do!!!! KEEP writing!!! Once again, thank you for providing me the opportunity to read and review for Simply Positive; this also has been written in affiliation with
